What does Loop Slicer do?

Loop Slicer allows you to upload a wav file (a drum loop or a sound loop) which will then be processed and chopped up into individual hits and assigned to Pads on the screen. It will then allow you to play the pads so you can hear the slices.

You can then look at the waveform view and copy and paste your own cuts, which can then be copied to Cut pads at the bottom of the pad view.

You can then download all the individual wav files on the Download section. It will also allow you to drag these in your audio sequencer!

Why do I need this?

All the loop slicers I know are either built into your sequencer or as VSTs. I thought building one into the browser would be a nice idea so you can quickly experiment without loading up and of your usual music production tools. Also - alot of sequencers now are in the browser either on desktop or mobile, so why not?

Where does the audio go when I upload?

It stays on your local browser cache. I do not upload your files to my servers (they couldn't cope with the space anyway) so all of your data is protected and local to you. I never see what you do with the tool. All the data stays with you and ends with you.
